Heat Pumps
Swimming Pool Heat Pumps are a method of Pool Heating that uses electricity to heat your pool. These give you the flexibility that if you don’t
have the required roof space for solar, or if the pipework to the roof is unachievable, you can still have a heating solution for your pool.
Heat Pumps work based on the same principles as employed in air conditioners and refrigerators, they extract the latent heat from the atmosphere
and diverts its direction into your swimming pool water. There are two types of heat pump available to the market, those with standard
technology and ones that use new inverter technology. So there is a swimming pool heat pump for every budget.
Inverter technology gives the swimming pool heat pump a greater Coefficient of Performance (COP), which reduces the speed of the unit as it
reaches the desired temperature. This saves on energy and enables you get swimming sooner at a more consistent temperature.
